I Was Born in the Wrong Time
I think I was born in the wrong time period, as were many of my female friends. Why have I come to this conclusion, you ask? I had a late night discussion with a friend of mine in from out of town. She's incredibly accomplished and an all-around impressive person. And yet, even though both this friend and I have both done some seriously cool things (her more than me, but still), we still find ourselves sitting on my couch, talking about man problems and how we feel like we're a little behind the game. After this discussion, I woke up this morning and switched on the television (as I am wont to do). My TiVO was recording Mad About You, currently airing on TV Land, and I let it go, since I was running around trying to pull my morning together. As "Mad About You" seguewayed into "Designing Women" and "Designing Women" turned into "Cheers," I had this very strange thought. 10:20 pm tonight i get to use the computer.. hees. cus seha is tired so, she lets me use. did frontpage today in IT class :D heheh. my group finally done done with the stage presentations. phew. i think we did a great job.. although there was TOO MUCH slow discussions. hahaha. and jonatons and kah han made our group's motto- WE'RE NOT BOASTING, WE'RE JUST TALENTED. ??!! lol. okays whateverr.. they go around the class telling the rest this hahah. and the class ended at 4:30pm (: seha told me a funny story today.. she went for work as usual, only today, she said that she played doctor-doctor with the kids. so this kid, her name is elizabeth.. was the doctor. she has this small and cute voice. so my sister said, "elizabeth.. look at my hand here.. its red.. can u find out what's wrong?.." she said, "ok.." then took out a toy hammer and hit my sister's hand. seha- " heyy.. why did you hit so hard?? haha okay. so what should i do with my hand??" elizabeth said, "hmm.. firstly... Aduhaiii… lewatnya aku bangun hari ni… jam dah menunjukkan pukul 8.30pagi… lepas bangun solat subuh jam 4.30pagi tadi… macam takde harapan jerr nak membuka buku…!!! last-last end up tertido dengan buku-buku sekali atas katil… nape la buleh jadi lagu ni…??? Hmmm… maybe semalam penat sangat kot…!!! Habis satu badan aku sakit-sakit…!!! Tu laaa… bila beli barang… tak hengat dunia…!!! segala mak-nenek barang aku nak beli kat Netto tu… dalam beg pun dah ala 2 biji buku yang tebal dengan segala jurnal… So, dengan harapan… larat laa hendaknya bawak barang-barang yang aku beli tu…!!! Sebelum tu dah singgah Hutchinson… hehehe… rambang mata bila tengok segala mak-nenek buah yang murah-murah… strawberry… orange… raspberry… cherry… pisang… dan macam-macam lagi… Cuma larat tak larat jerr aku nak mengusung balik ke rumah…!!! Nyepedah di bonbin
Iseng2 buka2 foto waktu liburan anak2 yang baru aja lewat. Rasanya koq pas banget ini ditampilkan dalam blog-ku. Sampeyan juga tau kan kalo blog ini mengandung beragam arti. Salah satu artinya "kegerahan namun tidak (minim)berkeringat". Kegiatan liburan kemarin kurasa bisa dijadikan conto dari istilah aneh gerah tidak berkeringat itu. Liburan kemarin aku ngajak anak bojoku dolan2 nang bonbin. Tapi ini bukan bonbin yang jadi tempat dolannya si anakperi lho ... ini main ke bonbin ya untuk belajar tentang kewan sekaligus mengisi waktu libur anak2. Ternyata mengasikkan dolan2 ke bonbin itu. Apalagi bonbinnya ada di nJakartee ... kalo buwat wong ndeso koyok aku jelas bayangannya adalah pasti bonbinnya panas dan gak asik sama sekali. Tapi dugaanku ternyata meleset, bonbin Ragunan di nJakartee itu ternyata suejuukk poll dan banyak pohonnya. Kontras sekali rasanya dengan suasana di luar bonbin yang banyak bleduk, keluk knalpot metro mini dan bis kota serta gak asri. Kanggoku... (more)
